Diodes Corporation (Diodes) today debuted its advanced line of indium antimonide (InSb) Hall device sensors that detect rotation speed and measure current for consumer product applications such as laptops, mobile phones, gamepads, and motors in a variety of home appliances. In industrial product applications, such sensors are designed for position encoders, as well as commutation functions for brushless motors and fans. The development of such devices can meet the market demand for more highly sensitive indium antimonide Hall sensors in industry-standard 4-pin SOT23-4 and SIP-4 packages.
The AHE300 indium antimonide sensor supports the Hall Output Voltage (VH) classification C-G with a voltage range of 168mV to 370mV. The AHE10x sensor supports classification C-H, providing VH up to 415 mV. This series of sensors has ultra-high sensitivity and can work reliably in a variety of product applications, even if the magnetic field is weak. In addition, to provide high-precision detection, the sensor's low compensation voltage (5mV to 7mV) enables the desired resolution level.
The AHE300 sensor operates in a temperature range from -40°C to +110°C and is available in a SIP-4 (MA type) package. 500 units are ordered at a unit price of $0.18.
The AHE10x device operates over a wider temperature range (-40°C to +125°C), ensuring durability in harsh thermal environments. The device is packaged in SOT23-4 and offers multiple height options (A, B, C) for increased application flexibility. The order unit is 3000 pieces.
