Bourns, a globally renowned leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, has announced the expansion of its power filter product line by launching the new Bourns® SRF9005A power filter series, which features a wide range of inductance and resistance values and supports frequencies up to 300MHz. The brand-new power filter is automotive-grade and complies with the EC-Q200 standard. It is specifically designed to meet the strict requirements for suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in various consumer, industrial and automotive systems.

Bourns® SRF9005A series power filter

The Bourns® new filter adopts a ferrite toroidal core structure, providing high impedance over a wide frequency range and effectively suppressing electromagnetic noise entering and leaving the system. This series is also an excellent common mode power supply choke solution, featuring multiple outstanding characteristics, including a current rating of up to 1.6 amperes, an inductance range of 10 to 6500 μH, and an operating temperature range of -40 to +105 °C.

The brand-new Bourns® SRF9005A series power filters are now available and can be ordered through authorized Bourns agent partners. The entire series complies with RoHS* standards and is halogen-free products **.

Bourns products meet the "halogen-free" requirements only if (a) the bromine content is less than or equal to 900ppm, (b) the chlorine content is less than or equal to 900ppm, and (c) the total content of bromine and chlorine is less than or equal to 1500ppm.
