AD102-300-A1 Core Architecture Analysis: The Performance Leap Driven by Ada Lovelace

As the core chip of NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics cards, the performance leap of AD102-300-A1 stems from the all-round innovation of the Ada Lovelace architecture. The fourth-generation Tensor Core introduces the FP8 tensor engine, with inference performance increased by four times compared to the previous generation, providing a hardware foundation for DLSS 3 technology. With the help of optical flow accelerators to generate brand-new frames, DLSS 3 can double the frame rate without sacrificing picture quality, demonstrating significant advantages in 3A games. Meanwhile, the speed of the single-precision CUDA core has doubled, and the 96MB large-capacity L2 cache further reduces data latency, making graphics rendering and professional computing more efficient.
